Leaving your job how to tell your co-workers business English lesson


When you talk to co-workers, you will eventually tell them that you are leaving. Here are some general sentences.

During this English lesson you will learn how to talk to your work colleague's when you are leaving for another job. There are several examples of sentences you can use when talking to colleagues. The last part of the lesson shows examples of how to talk to another colleague who is leaving.

Examples of telling colleagues you are leaving your job

Next Wednesday will be my last day I will be working.
This morning I told them I was giving them my four weeks notice.
I will be leaving the company at the End of the month.

This week I accepted a job offer from Easy Pace Learning. This Friday will be my last day here.

I'm leaving this place.
I wanted to leave a lot sooner, but I struggled finding the right job.
I have been treated badly here so many times. Last week I decided I couldn't take anymore so I decided to leave. My last day is the 4th of August.
